The peppermint is so huge that the flavor profile lands firmly on peppermint without a poignant chocolate note. I swear I saw the old color pattern and heard the long tone when stations used to go off the air at night.

There’s just something about chocolate, peanuts and that crackling candy shell that is impossible not to like. They’ve given up trying to turn the crispy biscuit bits a pale green and add a weak mint taste and instead just focused on the combination of good dark chocolate and peppermint on its own. This is mainly an excuse to post better photos, because my thoughts on the flavour are still the same! There were no rewards, no emotion, no enjoyment and worse, my desire for those flavors were still screaming at me. That seems more trouble than necessary, which is the overwhelming message I got from eating these, “Why bother? Made with real dark chocolate and mint flavour, this mint chocolate treat is perfect for filling your office candy dish, topping off your favourite desserts and serving at parties.

The dark chocolate tasted rich and minty, whilst the crunchy shells provided a nice contrast in texture. Even if you don’t care for peppermint, you should be joyous and merry because it signals a season full of friends, family, probably some alcohol, and constant anxiety over what gifts to get all these idiots for the holidays.
